There’s food, stalls, brick-a-brack, vegetables and plenty of rides for the kids including a pet farm and train ride. A visit to the Calliope River Historical Village is a walk down memory lane, past some of the early buildings from the area including the old pub (not used as a pub anymore), church and the Raglan Dance Hall. Entry is a gold coin donation and the markets are run from 8.00am to 4.00pm. The Calliope River Historical Village is located on the Bruce Highway, six kilometers north of Calliope and roughly 35 minutes west of Gladstone.
