The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum is a public institution established and funded by the Gladstone Regional Council.
It is dedicated to promoting the visual arts and crafts for and by the communities of the Port Curtis region and Central Queensland in addition to acting as a focal point for the preservation and display of the region’s history and cultural heritage.
Based at the Gallery/Museum is a full-time Director assisted by a Cultural Projects Officer, Administration Assistant and a small team of casual and volunteer staff.
The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum houses, maintains and presents the city’s permanent collection of Australian art, and local history. Though not extensive the holdings include material of particular significance to Gladstone along with that of more general interest.
